Welcome to Cochran’s Crossing Village Association

MISSION

The Cochran’s Crossing Village Association (CCVA) serves as a liaison between the residents of the Village of Cochran’s Crossing and other governmental agencies. CCVA provides service to the community by spearheading and organizing village representation and participation in community events. CCVA establishes, administers, and directs various village activities and appropriates awards.

July Monthly Board Meeting

Join us for the July board meeting on Tuesday the 23rd. Meet your CCVA board members who would like to help you! Chief Buck from The Woodlands Fire Department will give a presentation on hurricane recovery, as well as a quarterly update. We are always appreciative to have him at our meeting. Please see the agenda below that includes a change to the bylaws and planning for the upcoming fall festival. Meetings are called to order at 6:30 PM in The Woodlands Township building on Technology Forest Blvd. Hope to see you there!

Communications Update

By-laws Ad Hoc Committee Update: To be voted on,“Section 7.01. Election of Area Representatives. “The election of Area Representatives shall take place annually on the date specified by The Woodlands Township Board, or its successor, or such other date as the Board of Directors may establish from time to time, providing a minimal written notice of ninety (90) days is given. Notice shall be in publication(s) of local circulation on at least two separate occasions at least (30) days prior to the election date. Voting shall be by secret ballot. Any Area Representative shall be eligible for re-election. Candidates who receive a plurality of votes cast shall be elected” and their term shall commence immediately upon certification by The Woodlands Township or its successor of the election results.

    Cochran’s Crossing Village Association Board Meetings

    Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm at The Woodlands Township headquarters, located at 2801 Technology Forest Boulevard in The Woodlands. Meetings are open to residents. Please join us!

    Please note, the October board meeting will be held on October 15th and the November board meeting will be held on November 19th. There is no board meeting in December.
